Rivendell While looking for an envelope to send my rent check in, I came across a postcard I had meant to send to Maggie. It's of a painting titled Plato's Academy: you can see the original here. I have a weird mind, though, so the first time I saw the paining, I thought, "Wait. Why are Christ's Apostles naked?" and since then I have realized that even more interpretations are possible. So, I have shaved Plato/Pseudo-Jesus and I give you 'Elrond teaching the Elves of Rivendell.' Click on the picture to go to my gallery, and then once again for a closer look.
